If you're covered, a prescription is sent to your pharmacy. If not, your provider will suggest alternative FDA-approved cash pay GLP-1 options. This process takes about 2-3 weeks.
4. Start your treatment
If paying cash, your medication ships right to your door and you can take your first dose in less than a week. If using insurance, your medication can be picked up at your pharmacy.

How do you take Foundayo?
Foundayo is a pill taken by mouth once daily. Take it around the same time each day to make it a habit. Your provider will guide you through how and when to take your medication and help adjust your treatment plan if needed.

The common side effects of Foundayo often improve within the first few weeks of starting treatment. Side effects may also occur when doses are increased.
