Amy Gragnolati


Amy Gragnolati, PharmD, BCPS, is a clinical pharmacist as well as a medical writer and editor. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia. She completed her postgraduate pharmacy residency at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and is board-certified in pharmacotherapy.

After finishing her residency, Dr. Gragnolati worked as a clinical pharmacist at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital, where she specialized in pediatric intensive care, oncology, and cardiology. She then spent five years working as a clinical pharmacist at Kaiser Permanente San Francisco, specializing in addiction medicine and family medicine. Dr. Gragnolati also developed clinical programs such as a Tobacco Cessation Program and an Opioid Safety Initiative. 

Dr. Gragnolati then worked as a medical editor at GoodRx for four years. During her tenure, she managed a team of freelance pharmacist writers to produce health articles spanning a wide range of topics, including women’s health, mental health, and addiction medicine.
