Leandra Beabout

Leandra Beabout is an experienced health content writer and editor based in Japan. With a background in newspaper journalism — she was a 2017 Indiana Associated Press Media Editors awards runner-up — Leandra delivers research-driven content for health brands. She specializes in writing about nutrition, sexual health, and mental health. Leandra also has several years of experience as a K-12 educator, which taught her to break down complex topics into plain language — and to always write from an inclusive and empathetic perspective. 

In addition to writing for Ro, Leandra has written content for healthcare professionals and brands such as Singlecare, Saatva, Giddy, and Vital Proteins.
