Patricia Weiser, PharmD

Patricia Weiser, PharmD, is an independent health content writer, medical reviewer, and consultant. She joined forces with Ro as a freelance contributor, writing and reviewing content, in 2021. 

Dr. Weiser earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a licensed pharmacist in the state of Pennsylvania.

Including internship, Dr. Weiser worked at CVS Pharmacy for more than 15 years. Her experience there included staff and pharmacy manager positions at rural and urban locations, where she helped patients and caregivers manage medications and resolve cost or coverage concerns. She also provided immunization services. Dr. Weiser’s professional practice experience also includes staff pharmacist positions at an independent pharmacy and a community hospital.

During her years in practice, Dr. Weiser often noticed that many of the concerns that patients expressed about their medications could be resolved if they had better information. Keeping this in mind, Dr. Weiser pivoted into creating clear, educational health content that helps patients and caregivers understand what they need to know about medications, supplements, and other health topics. 

Dr. Weiser lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, two daughters, and their goldendoodle.
