Eczema
Eczema refers to a group of skin disorders that cause irritated, inflamed skin and it’s quite common. Over 31 million people in the US—over 10% of the population—have some form of eczema. Atopic dermatitis, often referred to as eczema, is the most common type. A conclusive diagnosis of the condition usually requires examination by a dermatologist and sometimes a patch test. How eczema is treated depends on the type and is usually a combination of home remedies, lifestyle modifications, and medications.
