Dr. Christopher T. Mallavarapu, MD

Internal Medicine


Dr. Christopher T. Mallavarapu was born in South Bend, Indiana and grew up in the suburbs of New York City. After receiving his undergraduate degree in chemistry at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, he earned his medical degree at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He subsequently completed fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases, Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. He is currently the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Director for a hospital in New York state. He has published numerous articles in the field of general cardiology, interventional cardiology and electrophysiology. He has a keen interest in the relationship between Erectile Dysfunction and coronary artery disease, and how lifestyle changes can help ameliorate both conditions.
