Rachel Goldman, PhD, FTOS, is an Obesity Psychology Advisor for Ro. She’s also a clinical psychologist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Goldman specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and takes a holistic approach to helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals. Focused on the treatment of obesity, Dr. Goldman received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She completed her Post-Doctoral Fellowship with a specialization in Obesity and Bariatric Surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina. In 2023, she was the recipient of the Distinguished Behavioral Health Provider award from the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Dr. Rachel is a sought-after speaker and media expert, with appearances in outlets including TIME Magazine, The New York Times, CNN, and USA Today.
