Julia Schwartz, MD

Ro Dermatology Advisor

Dr. Julia Schwartz is a board-certified dermatologist, Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD), and owner of Dorado Dermatology in Dorado, PR. After graduating from the University of Washington School of Medicine, she went on to do her internship at Virginia Mason Medical Center and her residency in Dermatology at George Washington University, where she also served as chief resident. Additionally, she completed a dermato-pharmacology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University where she served as a sub-investigator on several clinical trials primarily focusing on biologic medications. She has published numerous peer-reviewed research papers and has spoken at several national meetings. 

Dr. Schwartz sees patients of all ages for both medical and cosmetic concerns. Her areas of interest include acne, rosacea, eczema, and hair loss. She is passionate about addressing skin and aging health concerns as a crucial step towards promoting overall wellness. She has served as a Ro Dermatology Advisor since 2022 and is passionate about improving access to dermatologic care through community outreach and telemedicine.
