Nesochi Okeke-Igbokwe, MD, MS


Nesochi Okeke-Igbokwe, MD, MS, is a physician, health expert, media contributor, and health writer based in the New York City area. She’s not only a practicing internist but also a civil surgeon designated by the United States Department of Homeland Security and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Dr. Okeke-Igbokwe is the CEO of Dr. Nesochi LLC, an internal medicine private practice, and SuperModelMD, LLC, a health media consulting company. She is also a former medical advisor for the CDC Foundation, supporting the New York State Department of Health as a COVID-19 subject matter expert.

Dr. Okeke-Igbokwe is a trusted media resource and respected international health expert who often corrects misinformation about the latest health trends and encourages a measured and thoughtful approach to personal health. She received her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at New York Presbyterian Queens. Dr. Okeke-Igbokwe holds a master’s degree in the Clinical Evaluative Sciences with a concentration in Epidemiology/Biostatistics from Dartmouth College, where she received training in health services research and conducted analyses of data quality in contemporary medical literature. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology with honors at Boston University.
