Austin Ulrich, PharmD, BCACP, is a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist and freelance medical writer. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Utah and subsequently completed two years of pharmacy residency in Oregon.
Dr. Ulrich’s experience includes direct patient care in hospital and community pharmacies as well as primary care clinics. After several years of patient care, he now works full-time as a freelance medical writer with his company, Ulrich Medical Writing, LLC. In his pharmacy and writing career, Dr. Ulrich has come to appreciate how accurate and well-referenced information about health and medications is essential. Dr. Ulrich lives in Greensboro, North Carolina, with his wife, daughter, and three sons, and is an avid distance runner.
