Christina Varvatsis, PharmD

Since graduating from pharmacy school in 2012, Christina has worked as a hospital pharmacist and has been involved with almost every level of patient care. Christina enjoys precepting pharmacy students and residents, providing patient and staff education, and evaluating hospital processes to ensure medication safety. Whether working in the hospital or writing for the public, Christina aims to empower patients to take charge of their health and make informed decisions regarding their care.

When she’s not working, she can be found hiking with her family, learning to play the piano, and trying to beat her husband at Scrabble.
