Marie Hasty, BSN

Marie Hasty is a nurse, writer, and artist living in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended East Carolina University, receiving her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing in 2018. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she took care of COVID-positive patients both in acute and critical care units. Since then she has transitioned into medical content creation and education. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys reading, painting, traveling, and pestering her overweight cat named The Hudge. Her favorite flavor of La Croix is Pamplemousse and the best book she read last year was Nomadland by Jessica Brueder.
