Pepper Schwartz, PhD

Dr. Pepper Schwartz, PhD, is an acclaimed author, researcher, sexologist, and relationship expert who has devoted her career to furthering the fields of sexuality and intimacy. An Emeritus Professor at the University of Washington in Seattle, Dr. Schwartz is also the relationship expert on the hit show Married at First Sight. She also has a Professorship on Sexuality and Aging named after her in the Institute of Sexuality and Gender Health at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Dr. Schwartz has written over 25 books on the subjects of love, sexuality, and commitment, two of which were New York Times Bestsellers and four of which were featured on Oprah. Dr. Schwartz has also served as AARP’s Love & Relationship Expert, created PerfectMatch.com’s matching algorithm, and wrote a column for Glamour. She’s been profiled in the New York Times, the Washington Post, and People Magazine, among other outlets.
