How does it work?

Does Ro Mind membership include psychotherapy or talk therapy?

plus minus

Ro Mind does not provide psychotherapy or talk therapy sessions.

Is it legal to prescribe medication online?

plus minus

Yes. Ro Mind telehealth technologies enable healthcare professionals to practice medicine and take care of patients remotely. Every doctor or nurse practitioner that you interact with is licensed to evaluate and treat patients and prescribe medication. Providers on the Ro Mind platform only treat patients and prescribe medications in the states in which they are licensed, and the Ro Mind platform complies with all governing medical laws in the United States.

Can I use any pharmacy?

plus minus

If you choose our pharmacy network, we’ll ship your treatment to you in our discreet packaging. We offer free shipping on every order, as well as customer support 365 days a year. You can always choose your own pharmacy, although Ro Mind cannot guarantee the pricing of the medications processed outside of our pharmacy network. If you are prescribed medication and elect to fulfill your prescription through an external pharmacy, your Ro Mind membership will cost $50 per month. It’s also important that your pharmacy is able to receive e-prescriptions and that it’s part of the Surescripts Network (the Surescripts Network includes 95% of pharmacies across the country).

What is depression?

plus minus

Depression refers to pervasive feelings of sadness and/or a loss of interest in activities you normally enjoy. It is perfectly normal to feel sad from time to time. However, if these feelings are around for longer periods of time and are associated with certain other symptoms—such as changes in your sleep pattern, appetite, and/or difficulty concentrating—they can interfere with your daily life. Feeling intense sadness or depression for weeks (or longer) can affect your close relationships, your performance at work/school, and your ability to socialize. If this is the case, you may have major depressive disorder, and it is best to seek professional care.

What is anxiety?

plus minus

Anxiety is a pervasive feeling of nervousness, worry, or fear. It is completely normal to feel stress from time to time. For example, some stress can be normal right before taking a final exam, when delivering an important presentation at work, or when making a big life decision like moving to a new place. However, when these feelings don’t go away or begin to appear even when there isn’t a clear reason for them, they can affect your everyday life. If this is the case, you may have generalized anxiety disorder, and it is best to seek professional care.

Please reach out to your provider if you have any questions about how your medication is working.

How do I end/cancel my Ro Mind subscription?

plus minus

If you are a Ro Mind member considering ending your treatment, we recommend you reach out to your provider with your concerns before discontinuing your service. Suddenly stopping certain antidepressant medications can cause a number of side effects, including flu-like symptoms, insomnia, and others. As a result, it can be dangerous to abruptly end treatment without proper medical guidance. However, Ro Mind members can discontinue treatment at any time by logging into their account at my.ro.co. At the bottom of your screen, click “Discontinue treatment.”
