Adam Helm, NP

Nurse Practitioner

Adam Helm has been practicing as a Nurse Practitioner since 2018. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Adam has a diverse clinical background, with experience in primary care, urgent care, and emergency medicine. Throughout his career, he has worked with both large hospital systems and critical access hospitals, gaining broad exposure to a wide range of patient needs and healthcare environments.

He developed an interest in telemedicine following the birth of his first child during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the following year, after recognizing the significant benefits telemedicine provides to patients, Adam transitioned fully into telemedicine practice. In this setting, Adam is able to provide care to patients who may face challenges accessing traditional in-person healthcare. He believes telemedicine offers a more personalized, convenient, and patient-centered approach—allowing care to be tailored to each individual’s needs and schedule.
