Dr. Avantika Varma, MD, MPH, FAAFP is a board-certified family physician with a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She has over a decade of clinical and leadership experience.

Dr. Varma has specialized expertise in primary care, preventive health, weight management and obesity medicine, providing care in both telehealth and outpatient settings. She has supported patients through structured weight management programs, using GLP-1 medications and lifestyle-based strategies to treat obesity and related chronic conditions. Her approach integrates preventive care with a patient-centered focus on long-term health. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a medical advisor for Healthline Media.
