Dr. Joseph J Currier attended undergraduate studies at Harvard College in Boston, Medical School at Albany Medical College in New York, and Residency training at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. A Board Certified Emergency Department Attending Physician for over 25 years working both on the front lines in the ED and in various leadership roles, he became interested in telemedicine after COVID, when he realized the importance of virtual treatment for those unable to access both primary and Emergency care. The specialty has evolved due to necessity and Dr. Currier is so pleased to provide care for those patients that either live in communities without adequate numbers of providers or those without means.
