Shyam Kasundra, MD, MHA, is a board certified family medicine physician who currently resides in Cary, North Carolina.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Dr. Kasundra completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, his master’s degree in health policy at Johns Hopkins University, his medical studies at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine/Medical College of Virginia, and his master’s degree in healthcare administration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Kasundra has worked in a variety of health care settings; including primary care, urgent care, telemedicine, and hospital medicine, with a focus on both preventative care and management of acute illness in geographically and demographically diverse regions spanning from Mississippi to Alaska.
