Sumit Sunil Patel, MD

Dr. Sumit Patel was born and raised in New York City. He developed a passion for science early in life and found the prospect of learning about the human body and helping people achieve better health fascinating. After completing medical school at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Patel went on to complete his residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Maryland in Baltimore.

Dr. Patel currently practices as a board certified Emergency Medicine physician, but his work as a telemedicine physician has allowed him to find new and innovative ways to use his passion for technology and provide patients with easier access to care and treatments. He joined Ro to help patients gain better access to preventive healthcare to avoid requiring his reactive healthcare services in an Emergency Department setting.
