Dr. Yamil Ramon Cardel is a double-board certified Emergency Medicine and Obesity Medicine physician with over ten years of experience. He completed his undergraduate studies at Florida State University and attended the Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. After completing his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, he lived in Atlanta, GA before relocating to his home state of Florida. After working as a traveling physician for many years, Dr. Cardel transitioned to telemedicine to spend more time at home with his young family. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
