Lauren Harris-Pincus, MS, RDN is a Dietitian Advisor for Ro. Growing up with overweight and obesity, she developed a passion for nutrition education and culinary nutrition. For nearly 30 years, she Harris-Pincus maintained a private practice with a specialization in weight management and prediabetes in the New York metropolitan area. She has trained and worked at major medical centers, including Weill Cornell Medical Center and NYU Medical Center. She’s also presented wellness programs for major corporations, charitable organizations, non-profit agencies, and schools.
Harris-Pincus is the author of two cookbooks, The Everything Easy Pre-Diabetes Cookbook andThe Protein-Packed Breakfast Club, and is regularly featured as a nutrition expert in major broadcast, print, and online media outlets. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and active in several dietetic practice groups. She is also a conference speaker, brand spokesperson, and freelance writer for health and nutrition publications.
When she’s not busting nutrition myths, Harris-Pincus can be found listening to show tunes and attending Broadway shows. She lives in New Jersey with her husband and Shetland Sheepdog, Star, and treasures summers and vacations with her son and daughter who reside at their respective universities.
